Yesterday I received a DVD collection from Amazon of one of my favorite animes: School Rumble. I got both seasons and the OVA in one collection for $35. Great deal and great comedy. Episode 10 brought the curse of the geek to the fore again. I laughed… and then I snorted.
Argh! This is too difficult! I need a bigger screen! I can’t see my formatting! Argh!

I am leaning towards Anjuta as a C++ IDE for Linux. I really like Eclipse but the integrated Glade editor is pretty nice to have. I have a feeling though that I will get little actually done for a few days. I kinda wanna play some games.
Two hellish weeks are over, and my move is done. Only a few boxes are lurking hideously in the shadows…
I have some more laundry and organizing to do, but tonight I need to watch some mindless entertainment. I queued up a Haruhi Suzumiya DVD and am taking a break between episodes. I just learned that they are broadcasting a new season in Japan right now!
I’m getting ready to move in a month, or more correctly, I should be getting ready to move. I am too bored to do that though. Instead I decided to play with my Grub settings because the Kubuntu upgrade to 9.04 for some reason didn’t put the new kernel in the menu.lst. And the nerd learned.
After I got the kernel situation fixed, I looked at the piles of books needing sorting and decided that I needed private key encryption for my e-mail. That was too easy, so then I fought with the new Amarok for a bit because it won’t push playlists to my Sansa View. I figured out how to do it manually with a text editor and dealt decisively with what is at best a minor problem. The books beckon…
