Extended – Dammit

They gave us a month extension on our contract so now we are working until the end of September. Nice to have more income, but I have an interview tomorrow for a full-time job. I guess that if they offer me a position I will see if I can get evenings and weekends until they cut us loose.

Long Time, No Whine…

‘Tis been a while since last I posted, but now is as good a time as any. I am about to be unemployed. End of the week (August 31st) is the end of our contract. I am greatly bummed about this. I knew that the contract wouldn’t last forever, but I didn’t expect it to end this year. I had my money on next May.

I am expecting to take a pay-cut of at least 25%. It could be much worse. At least I am debt-free now. Wish me luck.
